And it can be confusing to those who are new to this space.

WAGMI

We’re All Gonna Make It

This is a favourite among crypto enthusiasts who are bullish about the industry.

Usually used to spread optimism and keep the hype going.

The general feeling when this is used is that every one taking part in that particular project is going to make it – rich!

Shill

A Shill often refers to someone who promotes a crypto project or platform.

Though the term quite often is associated with irresponsible behaviours, in some of our episodes, we use the term “shill” to simply mean promotion.

Eg. In the Episode, “Off Odds, Oddities and Ordinances” the actor/author talks about “shilling” in a rather plain matter to imply “excited promotion” of their views and idealogies.

To shill – means the act of promoting a particular project to amass more fans and supporters.

Airdrop

Airdrop refers to free tokens that projects give away; tokens are sent to the receiver’s wallet.

Typically given prior to or at the cusp of a project launch, tokens are airdropped to existing community members to reward their early engagement.

Tokens can also be airdropped to influencers to help boost the project’s marketing and visibility.

LG

The crypto community tends to include an f but we drop that off in our episodes!

Let’s Go!

This is a rally cry for more innovation and BUIDLing in the space.

It’s a sign of confidence that things are headed in the right direction – and if not, the community of believers, innovators and supporters can make things right.

Eg. In the Episode, “Let’s See How This Thing Works…” the actor needs some motivation from the observers (a.k.a. listeners) to build up confidence to kick off the first bitcoin transaction, and they respond with a countdown that ends with… LG!!!
